Recruiting Manager // Irvine

The Recruiting Manager will build strategic relationships with senior leaders and other recruitment professionals to take a crucial role in driving the firm’s talent acquisition strategy. Responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from identifying potential candidates to extending offers. Must collaborate closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders to ensure that the firm attracts, hires, and retains top-tier senior level accounting professionals who will contribute to the firm’s long-term success. Have a continuous pipeline of qualified candidates and understand the marketplace and the competition.

Salary: $110K to $170K
Job Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition: Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts for experienced hires across all service lines, audit and tax and create compelling job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting phone screenings, scheduling interviews and negotiating offers. Have a continuous active candidate pipeline that provides highly qualified candidates for all areas of the firm.
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize a variety of sourcing strategies to attract candidates, including constant outreach, social media, job boards, professional networks, employee referrals, and more. Establishing the use of effective recruitment technologies and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to streamline sourcing efforts.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner with line partners and appropriate stakeholders to understand specific hiring needs, job requirements, and team dynamics. Provide guidance and recommendations on candidate profiles, interview processes, and selection strategies. A sense of urgency and timely approach for each interaction. Sales experience and the ability to close is a must.
- Employer Branding: Promote the firm as an employer of choice by showcasing the culture, values, and unique benefits of working at Haskell & White. Attend networking events, assist the marketing team in developing content for the firm’s social media and recruitment marketing channels.
- Interview and Selection: Coordinate and facilitate interviews, ensuring a smooth process for both candidates and hiring teams. Support hiring teams in evaluating candidates and making data-driven decisions.
- Candidate Experience: Create a positive, engaging, and efficient experience for all candidates from initial contact through offer acceptance. Provide timely feedback and communicate transparently with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Offer Management: Prepare and extend job offers, including negotiating salary and benefits packages in alignment with company policies and industry standards.
- Metrics and Reporting: Track key recruiting metrics, such as time-to-fill, candidate quality, and offer acceptance rates. Provide regular updates to leadership on recruiting progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Assist in promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives by sourcing a diverse candidate pool and ensuring that hiring practices are equitable and inclusive.
- Subject Matter Expert: Adding value by demonstrating a thorough understanding of trends and market knowledge of sector applying knowledge and experience to inform actions and adapt sourcing plans and improve recruitment processes. A solid understanding of public accounting and what drives and attracts candidates.
Planning, organizing and delivering appropriate recruitment plans based on a thorough understanding of recruitment methods and concepts working with minimal supervision
Demonstrating an understanding of assessment methods e.g. competency-based interviewing, psychometric testing, technical testing and assessment centers
Qualification requirements are as follows:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of recruitment experience in the public accounting sector.
- Proven experience with full-cycle recruitment, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, etc.).
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of the public accounting industry and its talent needs is a must
- May perform other duties as assigned.

This position is full-time and the firm will accommodate a hybrid schedule although primarily in-office attendance is preferred.
